Portraits of Appreciation - Four Weekends of Events

LELA is pleased to announce a four weekend exhibition, consisting of three Saturdays and one Sunday. The exhibition is titled “Portraits of Appreciation,” consisting of 30 artists utilizing various media and formats to portray a select medical team of doctors specializing in oncology, most of whom are associated with the Cedar Sinai Medical Center. This special program will be introduced by Hideo Sakata, Founder of LELA International Artists, and well-known critic and curator Peter Frank will curate the event that is organized by LELA. The media employed by the 30 artists range from traditional oil on canvas to drawing, mixed media, and even batik. All the portraits will be donated to the respective doctors they represent. As part of the program Hideo Sakata will also feature a limited number of pieces of his own art, as well as a select gourp of other LELA artists.  PLEASE NOTE: Facemasks are required to attend these events.
