Portraits of Appreciation - Seven Doctors Portrait Show

LELA International is pleased to announce the exhibition “Portraits of Appreciation,” consisting of 23 artists utilizing various media and formats to portray a select group of doctors, most of whom are associated with the Cedar Sinai Medical Center. This special program of artists will be introduced by Hideo Sakata, President of LELA International, and well-known critic and curator Peter Frank will organize the event. The media employed by the 23 artists range from traditional oil on canvas to drawing, mixed media, and even batik. All the portraits will be donated to the respective doctors they represent. As part of the program Hideo Sakata will also feature a limited number of pieces of his own art, as will some of the other artists listed here.
