Merrilyn Duzy is a Los Angeles based artist, teacher, lecturer, and curator. She received her MFA from Otis Art Institute. Ms. Duzy has exhibited and lectured in diverse venues around the world. Artist's Message...
I paint people. In all their variables, humanity and human characteristics are the most challenging and enjoyable subjects. The life force of each individual that shines through their eyes, coupled with the beauty and sensuousness of their forms, offers an endless supply of compelling and stimulating themes. I’m drawn into their being as I work to get a likeness as well as their essence.
