Artist's Message...
My paintings are just at the intersection of landscape and abstraction. Light Through Darkness is a new art series I have been creating in collaboration with habitat loss. My artworks reflect on environmental concerns and address human relationship to the mother nature as well as picturing it’s beauty, fragility, peace and serenity. The use of spiral form is to represent a black hole destroying habitat by pollution in many ways in my work. In terms of “binary opposition” the beauty of nature and flowers painted against a dark spiral.
